On December 6, at our Quarterly Training Day, we were proud to launch the VWCCS Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). This marks a significant milestone in our commitment to reconciliation and our dedication to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The Reflect RAP is our roadmap for fostering stronger relationships, respect, and opportunities between VWCCS and First Nations peoples. It outlines our intentions to create an inclusive environment where the cultural histories, traditions, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities are acknowledged and valued.

Our plan includes concrete actions to increase cultural awareness among our volunteers and staff, engage meaningfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders, and ensure our services are accessible and supportive of all communities. By working collaboratively and respectfully, we aim to contribute to a more equitable and just society.

As we embark on this journey, we invite everyone involved with VWCCS—whether as volunteers, staff, or community partners—to embrace the principles of reconciliation and work together towards our shared goals.

Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication to making a positive impact through VWCCS. Click on the icon below to view the complete RAP
