VWCCS is very pleased to announce that Her Excellency, the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales has agreed to become the new patron for VWCCS. The Governor is a long-time supporter of the work of VWCCS.
Prior to her appointment as Governor, Her Excellency enjoyed a long and distinguished law career. Her role as patron of VWCCS is consistent with her deep commitment to human rights and social justice. [Follow this link to see Her Excellency speaking to VWCCS in 2019]
The previous patrons, Professor Gordian Fulde AO and Professor Caroline Taylor AM retired in March 2022. The President of VWCCS’ Incorporation Committee, Graeme Henson AM, has extended thanks to them for their faith in and allegiance to the work of VWCCS and lengthy service since 2014.
